Perfect if you're just getting started, want to store core documents, or need to share with one or two trusted people. You're not overthinking; you're beginning. Plenty of people stay on Free indefinitely because it's all they need.
Personal ($12/month or $120/year, 17% savings annually) — 5 GB storage, 100 documents, 5 recipients, check in as often as daily. Adds two features: custom check-in cadence (set exactly how often you want to confirm, rather than hitting a preset), and multi-stage escalation (release in waves rather than all at once). Choose this if you're managing more documents or want finer control over how your plan unfolds.
Professional ($50/month or $500/year, 17% savings annually) — 100 GB storage, 1,000 documents, 20 recipients, daily check-ins. Adds custom release (define exactly which documents go to which recipients at which stages) and audit log export (download your full check-in history as a file, useful for compliance or just for your own records). This is the tier for business owners, executors managing complex estates, or anyone who needs both sophisticated control and a paper trail.
